Family update, October
Hello! We are writing to you from the mountains of North Carolina, as we are currently at cross cultural training. It has been a good time so far, a lot of good information and it’s been a time of rest for our family, which is an answer to prayer. Josie is in childcare for part of the day which is new to our family, but she has been loving “school”, as she calls it. The girl is a social butterfly and makes new friends easily. It’s been good being with all missionaries, hearing stories and getting advice that is relatable.
When we get back from this training we plan to start the application process for our Visas. We also will be finishing out fundraising. We have a church lined up to speak at & a few speaking engagements at our home church, along with another pop-up coffee shop fundraiser.
Josie turned two since I wrote last, I can hardly believe she’s two already. Gideon also had a birthday, but I’ll spare his age count, lol. We have been soaking in our time here at training and enjoying the family time we get to have. If you could, pray for us as we continue here. Pray against spiritual warfare, that we may continue resting, and soaking in what God wants to teach us. We don’t want this time to be wasted but to always grow closer to Him, there is always room for improvement and growth.
